Kaitlin + Eric | An Engagement in Shenandoah National Park

Spring is finally peeping through! Brian and I had a wonderful early-spring adventure engagement shoot with Kaitlin and Eric Spending some time at Shenandoah National Park for hiking, photography, and making new friends made for a spectacular weekend.

This couple was up for some hiking! We took them on a lovely hike down to a waterfall and delved into their story. Kaitlin and Eric met at a Comic-Con event where they arrive dressed in character. Interest was piqued and I guess the rest is history! Both are musicians, furthering their connection to each other. Now, several years later, they are ready to get married! They are extremely excited about the upcoming events, planning on getting married in Maryland, where Kaitlin’s family is from.

On our photoventure, it was readily apparent how much Kaitlin and Eric love each other. They were talking and laughing the whole afternoon, even when we spotted a snake napping on a sunny rock beside the trail. (Some of us might have side-stepped the dozing reptile!!)  Brian and I not only discovered Kaitlin and Eric’s story, but we also learned the ins and outs of the latest videogames, as they are avid players.

We had a great time talking about the future and this couple’s plans. We wish them the best of luck on their wedding and on their marriage together!
