Landoll’s Mohican Castle Wedding Photographers at a Autumn Celebration

Maggie and Ryan had a wonderful wedding at Landoll’s Mohican Castle in Loudonville, Ohio, about halfway between Cleveland and Columbus! They day was gorgeous for them and the had a blast getting married. It was a joy to be their wedding photographers for their wedding ceremony!

Maggie and Ryan met in high school, although they were both dating separate people at the time. Maggie was dating one of Ryan’s old friends. They drifted apart when Maggie went to college in Kentucky and then Ryan Facebook messaged Maggie a “happy birthday” her junior year of college. When she came back for Christmas break, they planned to go get dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, which they did. Maggie also had a work party that night and asked if Ryan would want to go after dinner and drinks. He said “yes” and even work and ugly sweater with her (what a guy!).

From that day on, they talked every day. Ryan claims it was their first date, while Maggie denies it and holds to “it wasn’t a date.” We all know how that turned out! Best. Date. Ever.

Maggie and her girls got ready at Landoll’s Mohican Castle in one of the castle’s rooms. They had a blast listening to music and hanging out with each other while they got their hair and makeup done. We got to photograph them laughing and having a great time on Maggie’s wedding day.

While the girls were primping, we headed over to photograph the Ryan and his friends. They were pretty chill as they prepared for the day ahead.

When it was time for Maggie to put on her wedding dress, we had some sweet moments photographing her time with her mom. We love how wedding days really bring out so much joy and excitement.

After everyone was ready, we set up an intimate first look between Maggie and Ryan. They were so happy get to see each other and be together. As we were doing wedding photography for formal portraits, Maggie surprised Ryan by brining their dog for a couple of pictures. Ryan was clearly touched by how sweet and thoughtful Maggie was!

Now it was time for the official celebration! In a ceremony perfect for them, Maggie and Ryan pledged their lives to each other.

The wedding ceremony transitioned straight into the cocktail hour and reception, where Maggie and Ryan had an incredible party! They laughed with friends, danced, ate yummy food and generally had a good time.
