Barn at Wolf Creek Wedding Photographers at an Outdoor Intimate Rustic Wedding

Kate and Kaleb had a simply marvelous summer barn wedding! They were so excited to be marrying each other that it was truly an honor to be their wedding photographers for this momentous occasion in their lives! Kate and Kaleb held their weddings at one of our favorite barn venues, Barn at Wolf Creek in Copley, Ohio.

Kate and Kaleb met when they both worked at a Christian sports camp called Summer’s Best Two weeks back in the summer of 2013. During that summer, they really didn’t know each other very well, but they exchanged phone numbers before they left. Kate and Kaleb chatted back and forth for the next few weeks before going out on their first date. Kaleb drove from Akron to Pittsburgh to take Kate out to dinner. They started their long distance relationship soon after that and would drive two and a half hours to see each other on the weekends.

Over spring break last year, Kate and Kaleb were hiking in the Kanarra Canyon in southwest Utah and he proposed at the end of the hike. As Kate says, it was the perfect proposal.

Kate and Kaleb’s wedding day dawned bright and sunny. We started the day with everyone getting ready, full of lots of happiness and emotions for the big day.

Once Kate and Kaleb were ready, we headed over to Cuyahoga Valley National Park to photograph their first look. It was such an intimate moment for these two to be able to see each other for the first time on their wedding day.

The Ledges were a perfect spot for Kate and Kaleb’s wedding photography. We got to take full advantage of the great rocks and beautiful landscapes. Kate looked stunning in her dress and Kaleb was so clearly in love with his soon-to-be bride.

We then headed back to the Barn at Wolf Creek for the wedding ceremony! Everyone was super excited to see the happy couple and wish them the best on their wedding day. Kate’s dad performed a sweet simple wedding ceremony. It is always extra meaningful when a couple is married by someone that they know and love.

The wedding continued with a lovely dinner and lots of fun and laughter.

Overall, it was a splendid day! Kate and Kaleb, we wish you the very best in your lives together. We are so happy for you and that we got to share your day with you as your wedding photographers!
