Akron, Ohio Wedding Photographers at the Blue Heron

Tram and Jake had a beautiful wedding at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cleveland followed by a lovely reception at the Blue Heron Event Center in Medina.

Tram and Jake met through a friend at the University of Toledo during the organization fair. They were in a mutual friend group and hung out a few times. Then, one summer after Jake did a twelve month mission trip to Bolivia, he talked to her again and they agreed to go on a date.

It was funny because he asked her to the movies and it has been said to never go on a first date to the movies. They saw “Quiet Place,” which is a silent movie, to make matters worse. So not only did they not speak much, but it was like one long pause. However, one date led to another and a relationship started to form.

Jake went to school in Hawaii while Tram studied in Toledo. They kept the relationship going for a year and a half until Tram came out to Hawaii to stay for a month. They came back to Ohio and Jake moved to Cleveland where Tram’s family lives and she goes to school. The rest, as they say, is history!

Tram and Jake’s wedding began with the girls getting ready at Tram’s parents’ house in Cleveland. The home was decorated with custom art from Vietnam, Tram’s parents’ country of origin. The girls were super chill as they did hair and makeup, having a good time as they hung out with each other.

Once everyone was ready, we all headed to the church for the wedding ceremony. The service was beautiful as Tram and Jake committed their lives to each other.

Following the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to the Blue Heron Event Center in Medina to celebrate. We had a chance to take wedding portrait photography of Tram and Jake on the beautiful grounds of the Blue Heron Event Center. Even though it was a hot summer day, we had a good time with the couple.

Dinner and dancing were a great way to party through the night, with some sunset wedding photography to finish off the evening.
