Cleveland Wedding Photographers at Hines Hill Conference Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Juliann and Brendan had a beautiful wedding at Our Lady Chapel at Gilmour Academy followed by a wonderful reception at Hines Hill Conference Center in Cuyahoga National Park! As Cleveland photographers, Brian and I always know we are in for a treat when we get to work with National Park brides. Saturday was no exception! From candle-filled mason jars lighting the walkway to mini-s’more kits as party favors, the wedding day was delightfully detailed! On top of it all, the bridal party and guests were relaxed, friendly, and fun to be around.

Brendan and Juliann went to the same high school, Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, one of the premier private schools in the Cleveland area. While they knew each other in high school, they weren’t really close at that time. Brendan went to college in Chicago and Juliann got a job there after college. They started dating after she moved away from Cleveland to the city. They like travelling together (to places near and far), microbreweries, good food, snuggling, and just generally enjoying each other’s company.

Something that stood out about this wedding was how relaxed everyone was! We all arrived at Our Lady Chapel with plenty of time to spare before the ceremony. Juliann, her sister Susan, and her mom relaxed in a side room. They broke out a deck of cards and played Kings Corners while talking and laughing!

The couple could not have asked for a more beautiful May day for photography! The sun was beautiful and the light breeze kept everyone comfortable. Following the Catholic ceremony, Brian and I photographed the formal portraits on the enchanting grounds. We then all headed to Hines Hill Conference Center in Cuyahoga National Park. Brian and I were blown away by how well done the decorations were! The flower arrangements were stunning, the drapings in the Hines Hill Conference Center gave the place a spectacular feel, and there were even homemade marshmallows by the fire pit! Juliann and her family took the time to make sure that every detail was perfect for this celebratory day!

After the day’s celebrations, the couple is heading to Germany for a delightful honeymoon! (We can all be a tiny-bit jealous of them ;P ) Juliann and Brendan: Here’s wishing you the very best on your trip and in the years to come!
