Cleveland wedding photographers at Hines Hill Conference Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Sara and Erik could not have had a more perfect May wedding in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The flowers were blooming and the beautiful sunshine was backlighting the fresh spring-green leaves. It is always wonderful working alongside The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park! As one of their preferred wedding photographers, we regularly serve at their main two wedding venues: Happy Days Lodge and Hines Hill Conference Center.

Hines Hill Conference Center was an exceptional venue for Sara and Erik to have their wedding and reception. Hines Hill brides and grooms are usually very laid back and down to earth yet love the details weddings provide. This was no exception for this particular couple, as seen in their vocation. Sara works in the field of anthropology and Erik is an ecologist for the Cleveland Metroparks. With Erik's busy schedule at the Metroparks, we were unable to schedule our typical pre-wedding meeting. We were having a blast during the "formal" wedding photographs, when we both had a realization that we had actually met years before when I, Brian, was the staff photographer for the Cleveland Metroparks! It is always funny when life throws you those coincidences!

We really loved how the whole wedding day was filled with family, community, and love. From the kids playing games and throwing planes (provided by the bride... nice!) to the couple's family and close friends catching up and enjoying the festivities, everyone was rejoicing with the new married couple and taking pleasure in each other's presence. Congratulations Sara and Erik and lifelong bliss in your new marriage's core values: communication, appreciation, and patience!
