We had an absolute blast during Melissa and Patrick’s engagement session in beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Prior to all our engagement sessions, we ask our couples, “On a scale of 1-10 how adventurous would you like your engagement session?” They wanted an 11! This was going to be fun :) Our thought was that might be a bit hard to pull off in this part of the country. So, minus donning crampons and since our travel schedules didn’t line up, we decided that a creek hike to some hidden waterfalls might just fit the bill.

One really neat thing about Cleveland and Greater Northeast Ohio is there are tons of amazing little gems. There are lots of beautiful creek and waterfalls to hike to. AND they are warm to hike in, unlike the creeks in the Rocky Mountains that are snow or glacier fed. So this is one of our “hidden” places. We hiked to one of our favorite hidden waterfalls, and then finished up in a meadow of screaming summer wild flowers.

Melissa and Patrick LOVED the hike, and they ROCKED their engagement photos. That is one of the things we love to do: take be people in unique places that are out of their norm and let the magic happen!
